So, what's the catch?
Catch? What catch? :-) I hear you say there ain't no free lunch? But seriously, in return for the free service, we place unintrusive advertisements in the forums. Unintrusive means we won't be placing ads in places and in ways which freak people out and there are absolutely no annoying pop-ups. We understand the balance between providing a quality service, keeping our customers (you!) happy and at the same time getting some dough to keep this service going.
Of course, if you absolutely hate ads, we have flexible automated fee-based options available.

27 Nov - It's been a while but well worth the wait as we have now completed the following major features:
- Picasa Web Album integration - you can now upload to your free Picasa web album (up to 1GB!) and post the pictures in your forum.
- Customizable quick reply.
- Enhanced PayPal automated payment system for ad-removal.
- Swedish language added.
8 Sep- New style added - VistaLite.
8 Sep- Custom Domain support - you can now have your forums enabled for custom-domains!
5 Sep- Portal Enhancements - you can now disable/enable scrolling of the recent topics.
9 Aug- New style added - AcidTechTiger.
8 Aug- Portal Home Page Feature is now available! Flexible configuration options (including disabling it entirely) is available in the admin panel.
31 July - RSS Feed support is added! You can now subscribe to your forum and get notified when new posts are posted.
27 July - A new World of Warcraft style added! If you see any styles that you like, simply send us a URL and we will add it to the growing collection of styles that we have.
25 July - Minor feature added - Login username/password auto-focus. The username box is now automatically focussed so that you won't have to click with your mouse first. Just a little convenience feature suggested by one of the forums.
4 July - The much anticipated anti-spam system has been added! With this new feature, you can now control spam in your forum. Log on as an administrator and go to the admin panel for configuration options.
24 June - Forum admins can now remove advertisements via a flexible automated payment-based system, which is accessible in the forum admin panel. This is a great way to try out advertisement removal on your forum without any long term commitment.
20 June - We have completed a performance enhancement by commissioning a web accelerator. All forums will now benefit from this upgrade with an even more consistent and speedy performance.
12 June - Shoutbox placement feature added. You can now place the Shoutbox either at the top or the bottom of the page.
7 June - New Style added - subBlack.
29 May - The topic view sort order (newest first or oldest first) is now saved for each user.
26 May - Database and storage upgrade complete! You should now see even greater performance and faster response time. Thank you for your patience during the maintenance period.
10 May - Shoutbox added! It is enabled by default for guest view-only. To configure the Shoutbox or to disable it, go to the admin panel General Admin Configuration.
6 May - User sign-up process in forums is now simplified and more details are provided to the admin in the activation email.
1 May - User smileys upload limit has been increased to 80. Additional space for smiley can be purchased - email support for enquiry. Some change made to the admin panel smileys page for increased user friendliness.
24 Feb - A few features have been added to discourage spammer sign-up. We are currently testing a better admin interface for user management. Just set your profile to subSilver to see the feature. Report bugs to the support email. Other styles will have the enhancements after testing completes.

15 Oct - We have just successfully performed a major site upgrade. You should experience noticeable speed enhancements now. It is our continual committment to our existing members and new members to enjoy reliable and speedy free forums.
9 Sep - Smileys enhancements added. Forum admins now have an improved interface to upload their own smileys. Go to the Administration Panel and click on the Smilies link to see the new features.
2 Sep - Calendar feature added! We have migrated the database structure of all forums to support calendar. At the moment, only SubSilver and Morpheus templates will have calendar functionalities. We will add support for other templates very soon.
2 Sep - We have disabled the Neighborhood page and active forum list due to spamming problems. This will also give more privacy for our forums as requested by many forum admins.
22 May - Forum upgrade complete. Users should notice general improvements in speed and performance, especially during peak periods.
17 Apr - Migration of all forums to sub-domain is finally complete! Please access your forum via this URL format from now on: http://yourforumname.forumcircle.com. If you are a forum admin/moderator, please advise all your members to change their bookmarks.
27 Mar - Added Chinese Traditional, Cyrillic and Bulgarian languages. If you need additional language support, email us and we'll do our best to add additional ones! The same goes for styles/templates that you like to be added. Further update on sub-domain - we're continuing to migrate forums to subdomains; if you have an urgent need, send us an email and we'll fast-track your forum.
20 Feb - Subdomains coming soon!
We have been working hard in planning for the introduction of forum URL using subdomain. When it's done, you will be able to access your forum using this URL http://yourforumname.forumcircle.com. The current URL http://www.forumcircle.com/yourforumname
will continue to work as expected.
Check on this page often. We plan to implement in stages, i.e. some forums will have the subdomains capability earlier than others. We will announce when implementation is done.
