OK firstly may I start and say I am Roman Catholic (more hardcore and old school than some born again dip ass {some may call us the one true church but they are all high and mighty and may/may not be dicks}); and in saying so I begin the blasting of the person who first put up this post.
How the hell is this offensive?! I mean really?! Its a fucking movie about guys who play a fucking fictional game about dungeons nymphs and motherfucking dragons!! Right there is enough to make any sane person realize its gonna be a damn comedy!(some would call it a mockumentary). If that isn't a clue to the type of humour to be displayed later on...take a hike right now.

AS for your first point about it attacking every ethnic group; have you watched any prime time t.v in the last ..hmmm I dunno 10 fucking years???? Every show makes fun of some minority or ethnic group, including whatever assbackwards religion one may subscribe to, every single night. Its the norm. GET THE FUCK OVER IT!
ITS A MOVIE! I'm Irish and Canadian. Guess how many times I've been watching a show and been offended when they make fun of either one of those! The difference is that I am a man and can take that kind of shit and move on. TAKE A FUCKING JOKE MAN

Secondly, when they portray Jesus as a Mexican in a COMMUNITY PLAY, how the hell is that offensive? First off, its a COMMUNITY PLAY (and trust me if I could somehow put more emphasis on those words I would!). Secondly, a large portion of the world's Christians are of a Latin descent. Don't you think they might want to somehow celebrate their religion through some sort of odd community theatre? (Correct spelling of that for those of you living in the U.S.) Ok, the dude playing Jesus was gay, so what? I'm sure alot of people who are Christians of whatever denomination are gay. It's the 21st century, get over it. I mean really, Jesus in todays terms probably looked like the kind of guy who would either knock over your aunt's liquor store or try to hijack your plane. (If that sounds offensive to some, thank the popular stereotypes, not me!) You want to talk offensive, try talking to the people who would fit that description and have to deal with that discrimination every day. With a name like Petethemanwhotells, its hard to take what you say about racism seriously because its more than likely that you live in the damn suburbs , and have minimal contact with whoever it is you think it may be who would be "offended" by this shit. It is a FICTIONAL movie. get over it.

Now when you say the list goes on, that to me means you ran out of things to say. You Lazy Bastard. Are you against necrophilia? Because at one point one character says he is fucking his dead DND character on another dude's grave! Now that is kinda sick and may be offensive...to some hardcore necros? I mean really! Plant a Bush in your backyard and hope it grows you a sense of humour(again correct spelling), or maybe a pair of balls. Now I am for one against fucking the dead on a grave, but I am able to see the comment as part of the overall joke of the movie. Are you against people who jerk off horses to get their sperm in order to make more competitive race horses? Well that is a real god damned job Pal. Some poor guy is jerking off horses to "Wake up Dick" every day and its soul crushing! You seem to me to be the kind of dickmunch that bitches day in and day out about treating people equally and shit, while the cleaning staff @ your company or mansion makes less than minimum wage to clean up your shit, and are all immigrants with a better education that you!
Seriously dude, if you want to get offended there are plenty of REAL world issues to get all uppity about. This is a movie. Welcome to Reality

I can't believe it, I woke up this morning and I have exactly 511 emails, mostly from media and movie stars. Entertainment Tonight and the Hollywood Reporter both want exclusive interviews to talk about what some folks are calling the most dramatic jump of one film in IMDB's History, from a ranking of 6,063 on May 11th to number 75 on May 18th.
I'm leaning more towards Entertainment Tonight since my mom did give me the middle name Christopher "Entertainer" Folino, I've never revealed that before until today's blog, I felt it was it too much pressure." But, now, since Gamers is ranked 75, I can embrace my middle name with gusto!

So, I received emails from my new friend Charlie who writes.
"Chris, Congrats, let's grab lunch, I can't believe your movie ranked ahead of my hit TV show by 2 MovieMeter points, this pisses me off almost as much as my x-wife! Just joking, all the best to you and may my X go to die being donkey punched" -Charlie

Yes, being ranked number 75 is amazing. By the way Monterey Media, our fine distribution company, Gamers has just set a record for your company that the little Eye of Dolphin and that Dali Lame dude couldn't give you. A movie ranked 75 on IMDB!

It's better than being Wil Smith in "I am Legend" ranked number 83. The movie should be retitled "I am not so legend compared to Gamers"

Who would ever think they would live to see Gamers dethrown Battlestar Galactica (86), Family Guy (86), The Departed (89), and Friends (91). Well, Hell has frozen over my friends!

I think the phone call that will forever stay with me comes from the second greatest film director now, a new friend of mine, who I call Francis whose film "The Godfather" ranks just 95. I'm coming after you in the wine world next Francis! Look out!

And dear Meredith Zealy, lovely woman that you are, Hey, that little movie you made back in the day, that everyone loves, "The Notebook" is ranked 97! Hey Chick Flick...suck it!

And here's another mind blowing fact, if Hollywood could gather all the top 17,265 hollywood stars together, and God forbid a metor would strike them down...guess, who would be then be the number one ranked STARmeter on IMDB, that's right, then my midget epic "Little Miss Braveheart Sunshine" could finally get green lit!

Since Gamers is now ranked #75 on the IMDB MovieMeter, I don't even have to drive, I have three studios who sent limos outside my home. Sure, most the studios are porn, but, who cares!

By the way people, other than myself have benefited greatly from Gamers being ranked so high

Kevin Sherwood is now ranked 5,525 on IMDB STARmeter. So maybe he miss that meteor accident and the rest of the cast of Gamers that day, I'll share the spotlight!

Do I really have to go to work this week? You know I'm going to be such a dick at work, "Are those the kind of graphics you would make for the man whose movies ranked #75 on IMDB? I didn't think so...do it again" And you can bet your ass I'll be saying "I'm sorry, Chicken Picata may be what the other are eating in the lunch cafeteria, however, nobody here's got a movie ranked #75 on IMDB, so go inside that God Damn kitchen and make me a fucking hot pocket!"

Yes, I will have no problem going to work or being me this week!

I bought my copy at Best Buy, you would have to be an asshole to private a movie made by a bunch of guys who maxed out their credit cards and are still paying for this movie three years later.

So is 40,000 units a lot...? I don't really know the industry or the economics of it all to have a grasp of what that means. Does that number compare well with how many units you've moved already through conventions, etc.? (And this time you'll have the added booster of great advertising and what-not, right?)

Two months and counting - that is pretty sweet.

Don't really know the whole story, the posting for wiki came as a birthday gift.
Gamers info is dead on and Folino's is correct as well.
Somebody isn't happy though, maybe it's with a link.
But, May 6th 2008 is the "day of days" for us and 40,000 units is the goal.
